New Full Tilt Sit And Go Tournaments - Enter The Matrix!

What is "The Matrix" at Full Tilt Poker?

This is as progressive as it gets, always an industry leader Full Tilt Poker has introduced a new type of sit and go tournament called "The Matrix".

Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournaments are the most unique poker sit and go tournament found online, when you enter one of these full tilt matrix tournaments you will be seated at 4 sit and go tables with all 8 opponents being the same on each table. There is a prize pool for each sit and go table, and an overall prize pool where players are scored and paid out from the Full Tilt Matrix Tournament prize pool.

How are Full Tilt Matrix Tournament Payouts Issued?

Let's use a 9 man $10+1 Full Tilt Poker Matrix tournament for an example, the total prize pool would then be $90 for this tournament. The prize pool is then divided to pay players for each table, and an overall peformance prize pool as well. Confused? Here is how it breaks down:

Each of the four Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournaments will pay the final three players left on each table, in the case of our example of using a $10 Full Tilt Matrix Tournament sit and go the payouts would be as follows:

1st place- $9

2nd place - $5.40

3rd place - $3.60

Keep in mind this is for each table in the Matrix sit and go, so you can win on each matrix table, or even win the whole $90 matrix prize pool by becoming the "dominatrix" if you win all four matrix sit and go tables!

Now, there is also the Matrix overall prize pool - this also pays out three "overall" players at the same rate I mentioned above.

How is the Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournaments overall prize pool scored? This is where it gets interesting, as Matrix sit and go points are calculated for the overall prize pool based on the following:

Matrix Survival Points - Full Tilt players will earn one Matrix point for each opponent they outlast, and two points for every player they bust - these are both calculated at each table. Individual players scores will be listed in the tournament lobby under "score by match" and the total points for the entire tournament will be listed under "matrix score".

Sound too complicated? Well here is the icing on the cake - and this will make this tournament very high value for the full tilt sit and go grinders out there, if you win all four sit and go's you will scoop the entire prize pool! Yes, that means $90 goes your way and all other players will earn zero - Full Tilt calls this the "dominatrix" and it's a great chance to "kill em all" at the poker table in a short amount of time, and win up to 9 times your original buy-in!

These exciting new sit and go tournaments at Full Tilt are found in the tournament lobby, under the "sit and go" tab and there is a filter for Full Tilt Matrix Tournaments. I for one will be playing these often, I hope they become a big success and while the rules might seem a bit complicated this is just another example of Full Tilt attempting to offer progressive and forward thinking games for all players, at all buy-in levels.
