Testimonials
"Thanks for helping me get rakeback at Full Tilt, I went from a break even player to growing my bankroll while I improved my skills. Thanks to rakeback, I'm now beating 200nl. Adam was very helpful in answering all of my questions about the rakeback program."
Stephen Reinhardt

"Thank you for teaching me about rakeback. I was depositing and busting my bankroll every month last year, but now with my weekly rakeback I haven't deposited in 6 months. Thanks again."

SmartRakeback.com

This article will explain everything related to the Cake Poker Bonus. When you sign-up for the best deal for Cake Poker Rakeback thru Smart Rakeback you will receive a 100% bonus of up to $500. This means for every dollar you deposit, up to $500, Cake Poker will match it with a bonus in the same amount. Cake Poker also offers several reload bonus options every month to reward it’s top players with more than just rakeback.

Releasing and Clearing The Cake Poker Bonus:

All of the Cake Poker bonus releases are in increments of $10 and you have up to 90 days to earn the entire bonus. Many poker rooms require you to earn the entire cake bonus before they will clear any of it. This policy is important for people who use the cake poker bonus in their bankroll and extremely important for players who might not put in enough volume to clear their entire bonus.

All of the Cake Poker bonus is cleared using the same method, they are cleared based on how many Cake Poker Frequent Player Points (FPPs) you earn and FPPs are earned based on how much in rake and tournament fees you contribute. For every $1 in rake taken from pots that you are dealt into the hand, you will earn 1 FPP. For every $1 in tournament fees you contribute you will earn 7 FPPs. The Cake Poker Bonus clear at a rate of 16.67 FPPs per $1.

At Cake Poker ring games, they use the dealt method when calculating rake contributed for awarding FPPs and calculating cake poker rakeback earnings. This means if you are dealt into a hand where rake is taken, you will be credited with contributing rake and thus recieve Cake Poker Rakeback. For every $1 of rake taken from hands you are dealt in you are awarded 1 FPP at Cake Poker ring games.

Clearing The Cake Poker Bonus At Full Ring Games:

Since 16.77 FPPs earned will clear $1 in bonus, you will clear $1 in bonus for every $16.67 taken from pots that you are dealt in. If you clear your bonus at full ring games with ten players, you will are credited with contributing 10% (1/10th) of that $16.67 or $1.67 in rake. That means the bonus has a rakeback equivalency of 1/1.67 or 60%. Your MGR will be increased by $1.67, however since bonuses are deducted you only receive rakeback on $0.67. At Smart Rakeback our deal of 33%, the maximum allowed, means you earn $0.67 * 33% or $0.22. If you add this to the $1 bonus, you are receiving $1.22 of your rake back for every $1.67 you contribute. While clearing Cake Poker Bonuses at full ring games with a Smart Rakeback deal, you will be effectively earning 73% of your rake back! ($1.22/$1.67 = 73%)

Clearing The Cake Poker Bonus At Six Max Ring Games:

If you clear your bonus at six max ring games, you will be credited with 16.67% (1/6th) of any rake contributed for hands you are dealt in. This means you are credited with contributing $2.78 in rake for every $16.67 taken in rake at your short-handed tables. ($16.67 * 0.1667) You are also credited with clearing $1.00 of your bonus or receiving 36% of your rake back in the form of a bonus. ($1/$2.78) The remaining $1.78 in rake is returned at a rate of 33%, $0.59. While clearing Cake Poker bonuses at 6 max ring games with a Smart Rakeback deal, you will be effectively earning 57% of your rake back. ($1 + $0.59)/$2.78 = 57% As you can see, the bonus gets a smaller percentage of your rake back than at the full ring tables, but it is important to note that you clear your bonus faster at the six max tables.

Clearing The Cake Poker Bonus At Cake Poker Tournaments and Sit-And-G0’s:

As stated earlier, the cake poker bonus can also be cleared by contributing rake tournament fees. For every $1 in tourney fees you contribute, you will be awarded 7 FPPs. This means for every $2.38 (16.67/7) in tourney fees contributed you clear $1 of the bonus. From the bonus alone, you are earning 42% of your rake back. ($1/$2.38) After deducting the bonus from MGR and calculating your Cake Poker Rakeback earned on the remaining amount ($1.38 * 33% = $0.46), you see that you receive $1.46 of your rake contributed back for every $2.38 that you contribute. ($1.46/$2.38 = 61%) While clearing the Cake Poker Bonus at MTTs and SNGs with a Smart Rakeback deal, you will be effectively earning 61% of your rakeback at Cake Poker! As you can see this is a very lucrative bonus no matter how you clear it. Also, the Cake Poker Bonus clears faster than other poker rooms bonus.
